Arab Women Leaders Redefine Business Power Through Banking, Energy, Healthcare, and Regional Transformation 

Arab women continue to take on critical roles in finance, energy, healthcare, and government affairs as the region transitions to a new stage of development. Forbes Middle East magazine published a list of the 25 most powerful businesswomen in the Middle East for 2025. The first place belongs to Hana Al Rostamani, the first deputy chairman of First Abu Dhabi Bank, followed by Shaikha Khaled Al Bahar and Shaista Asif. This ranking demonstrates the importance of female figures in the economic development of the Middle East region. 

The list reveals the wide range of activities carried out by women in business. In particular, Wadha Ahmed Al-Khateeb, Dana Nasser Al Sabah, Randa Sadik, Sarah Al-Suhaimi, Tayba Al Hashemi, Alisha Moopen and Suzanne Al Anani, the most successful businesswomen in the Middle East, occupy responsible positions in many sectors, from banking and energy to healthcare and airline companies. The fact that Arab women are represented in so many fields of the economy is significant for the development of the region.
